Warm Up Exercises to Supercharge Your Run

In this video, we partner with Awaken Performance Rehab of Buffalo, NY to highlight four dynamic warm up exercises for women runners to include in their pre-run routine to help decrease injury risk and improve performance. These four pre-run exercises are designed specifically for women runners by focusing on key areas of a woman's body that require nurturing and preparation prior to heading out on a run.

These quick, dynamic warm up exercises are meant to be practical, easy to follow, and require minimal to no equipment. They include:

  1. Standing Ankle Mobilization
  2. Standing Clam
  3. Backwards Lunge with Knee Drive
  4. Marching Drill
